Hydraulic Pump Seal Kit CBN.
All seals required to repair CBN gear pumps that have 3mm thick (depth) "W" seals, 2.3mm thick oval seals and an 18mm input shaft. Note CBJ pumps have a 2.5mm W seal.

SK.CBN

Often the only useful information on a hydraulic pump is the ml's per revolution. For example a CBN-E314L can apply to many configurations. Manufactures use this code as a generic number. Very rarely are the codes consistent and can vary greatly between manufactures. Essentially 314, 316 etc are referring to the gear set and litres per revolution. 3 = gear set type 3, 14 = 14ml per revolution, 16 = 16ml per revolution etc.
Some pumps are marked with an arrow to indicate rotation. Do not take this as gospel. Pump rotation is reversible by dismantling and re-assembling the pump. I have seen many hydraulic pumps indicated with the wrong rotation.

You will need more information to determine the correct pump for your application which you can easily take from your existing pump. You will require:
Litres per revolution.
Input shaft type.
Mounting bolt configuration.
Outlet location.
Rotation.

Litres per revolution.
Taken from the name tag on the pump itself. If your name tag is missing then call us with the body length of your pump. The body length is the aluminium body between the front and rear plates.

Input shaft type.
Most common are Spline or Tongue. There are many names given to the tongue type. Rectangle and spade are common. To keep it simple I prefer to call it tongue as in tongue and groove timber, easy to relate to. Also tongue type does not confuse with rectangle spline.

Mounting bolt configuration.

For most Chinese equipment there are two configurations, 62mm x 62mm and 100mm x 70mm bolt centres. Very obvious by looking at the pump however both configurations look similar when attached to the engine. It is important to determine the correct bolt pattern.

Outlet location.
Outlet can be either side or rear. Side outlet you will have an inlet and outlet on opposing sides on the pump. Rear outlet you will have an inlet on one side of the pump and an outlet at the rear of the pump.

Rotation.

Rotation is either Left or Right. To determine the rotation you will need to locate the Inlet port which is on the side of the pump. Rear outlet is easy as there is only one port on the side of the pump. Side outlet will have a large port and a small port on opposing sides. The large port is inlet, the small port is outlet.

Next place your existing pump on the bench with the Inlet (large) port facing up and the input shaft facing towards you as in the picture below.

If your shaft is off centre to the right then it is Right rotation.
If your shaft is off centre to the left then it is Left rotation.

We use relating reference numbers on our product codes.
ml/r = 3xx. eg 310, 314, 316, etc.
Bolt pattern = L for 62x62, Q for 100x70.
Input shaft = T for tongue, H for spline.
Outlet = S for side, R for rear.
Rotation = L for left, R for right.
Putting these together you can search our catalogue:
ml/r plus bolt pattern plus '-' eg 314L-
Then add input shaft plus outlet plus rotation eg TRR
Searching our catalogue for 314L-TRR will result in 14ml with 62x62 bolt pattern, tongue shaft, rear outlet and right rotation.
